This shot and the first in this collection ("Arundel Cathedral / Orchard Place") were made within a few minutes - and a very few meters - of each other. The shoot was initiated by a sudden break in atrociously wet weather when Chris temporarily abandoned viewing another photographer's work to rush back to the location - that he'd checked out, in the rain, an hour before.

After capturing the first image things changed dramatically quickly as the sky went from unbroken blue (as witnessed in the former shot) to unbroken blackness - in the direction of the cathedral at least - in this one. The sun though remained - albeit out of shot, behind the camera - and it is, of course, that that is lighting up the terraced houses.

Chris shortly afterwards got a second soaking.

Update: We've been asked to explain the title. It relates back 50 years and is the name that Chris' paternal grandmother had for days when rain and sunshine coincided.
