LimitedEditions - What are they?

As with other fine artists, photographers can issue their work as Limited Edition prints. This means that not only does the artist authenticate the work by signing it (usually in the bottom right corner) but also guarantees that only a finite number of them will be issued.

This is shown in the editioning number (usually in the bottom left corner). "1/100" for example meaning that this is the first copy produced of a potential 100.

Chris Ledger's non panoramic editions are limited to 100.
The panoramic editions to 50.

NB. Occasionally a separate panoramic edition may be issued at an even larger image size (typically for corporate boardrooms). In such a case the edition size would be limited to just 5.
