ExhibitionsNOW!... theArundelGalleryTrail (20-29 August 2011 - 12.00-17.00 daily)

Chris is not formally showing at this year's Arundel Gallery Trail as his venue of recent years is not partaking this time around. HOWEVER...

at the eleventh hour Andrea Schulewitz has kindly offered good space at her fine dedicated art gallery, Square 1 Art, which is located in the centre of Arundel at 1 Tarrant Square (next door to official Trail "Venue 9", if you are using the Tail brochure).

The show is a mixed one featuring emerging - and exciting - young painter, Noe Baba as well as Andrea's own fine sculpture. Amongst Chris' own works on show is the first exhibiting of his new (and highly pertinant, of course) Arundel High Street panorama.

Also on the horizon, for Chris Ledger Photography is...
the Brighton Art Fair next month.

On from the 22nd to 25th September this is the first time we have ben involved but we have been impressed by past Fairs and know, from our experience of the Palace Art Fair last year, that Jon Tutton, Anne-Marie Francis and the rest of the organising team are the real deal!

Again...

Nov 2010 - Jan 2011: Landscape Photographer of the Year
For the second year running Chris had two works addmited to the Take-A-View Landscape Photographer of the Year exhibition at the National Theatre, on London's South Bank. "London from the Barbican: Pre-Dawn" was shown as a 1.7 metre long panel - and a double page spread in the book of the awards (AA Publishing, Nov 2010).

8-10 October 2010: The Palace Art Fair
The Chris Ledger Photography stand showed a substantial number of images at this, the inaugural Fair at Fulham Palace in West London. Organised by those responsible for the well regarded Brighton Art Fair, the show was particularly well received so hopefully it will become an annual fixture.

A more intimate one man show concentrating on Chris' less frequently seen LANDscape panoramas. As part of West Sussex's hugely popular Arundel Festival.

11-14 March 2010: The Battersea Affordable Arts Fair
A very successful return to Battersea.

5 Dec 2009 - 24 Jan 2010: The National Theatre (LPofY)
Take-a-View's Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009 book and exhibition featured two of Chris' wintertime "single shot" images, "Heavy with Snow 4" and "BMX: Double Jumpers".

30 Nov 2009 to 10 Jan 2010: The Barbican Art Gallery (See top image)
In the wake of the below-mentioned Barbican Library show, Chris was invited to show his panoramas - both cityscapes and landscapes - at the main Barbican Art Gallery.

22 September to 27 October 2009: Shirley Crowther Fine Art
A two man exhibition (with Bill Philip) near Brighton, East Sussex. Concentrating on South Downs and Brighton-specific images.

< 1-30 April 2009: The Barbican Library
A particularly large one man show with 22 panoramic images from Chris' first two years of work in the format. As shown here, display cabinets also showcased the equipment and slideshows demonstrated the techniques he had developed at that time.

12-15 March 2009: Battersea AAF
"The Affordable Arts Fair", Battersea Park, London. As one of a four artist exhibition with the Bill Philip Gallery - a continuing association that has repeated annually.
